Blessings,

I hope you all don't mind me joining, since my musican friends beg me not to sing and I can't play an instrument. But! I've been in this industry for some time now, going on 10 years, maybe more.

I have a good ear, have worked with founding members of bands as they are getting all the pieces together, worked with individual artists on basics of vocal training and type of songs they should concentrate on and finally I have a pretty good network of artists, promoters in the midwest and venues that feature reggae around the US.

I hope I can be of some assistance!

Much love,
Issa

History-Jewish Refugees sent to Dominican Republic to whiten race

In 1938, when no other nation would welcome Jewish refugees, Rafael Trujillo, the Dominican Republic strongman, offered to take in 100,000. Between 1940 and 1945, 5,000 Dominican visas were issued, but only 645 Jews actually made their way to the Dominican Republic. The refugees settled in the tiny seacoast town of Sosua, then just jungle land, that Trujillo had established with funding provided by the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee. Upon arrival, every new Jewish settler was given… Continue
